The base score for any listed person, entity, issue or event begins from 1000 and based on real time public opinion the indexed move up or down. Index moves up as the favourable sentiments increase for the indexed person, entity, event or issue and moves down as the unfavourable sentiments increases. For Instance – Coronavirus India index moves upward if the people sentiments reflect in favour of the spread and threat of the virus and the Coronavirus India index moves down if the people sentiments reflect against the spread or threat of it. (Note - We De-list the person, entity, event or issue if the overall Popularity Index score for the same reaches zero)
